Hey, thanks for the replies guys ![]() I'm a 85-90 kg Surfer. Will that be a problem? |

| NED136 | I think it depends on your weight: if your not to heavy, 9.3 will still be oke. If you are 90+ kg, it is not a good choice (from my own experience), as you need the Isonic powered up 90+ kg, 8.6 sail and lots of wind is a good combo. |

| mcross19 | If the two models of sails were the same and rigged on the correct masts and could be locked down I would say the 9.3 would definitely be quicker taking into consideration you were using the same fin. |

Thanks, thats my opinion too, but some guys on the beach are like: Ehh you can't go over 8.6 wih 75 cm. Will the 9.3 be slower than the 8.6 at 12-14 knots? |

| BelSkorpio | I use often a 8.8 on my IS122 / 2008. It's a magic combination when the wind is strong and stable enough. Don't see any problem with the 9.3 either. |

Lightwindsails on Isonic Hey Guys, i bought an older isonic (121/75/2010) and i am curious what you would ride in light wind conditions. I thought the 8.6 would be the obvious choice for the 75cm width, but i'd rather have a 9.3 for early planing. What combination would you choose? Can you go at the very limit of the 9.3 at the upper wind level? greetings Arvid |
