Futura 131 vs 141 2013
 

Hello to all,

I should have posted this question to the 'ask our team' section really, but it seems registration has been down for a while. I hope you people can help.

I noticed the 2013 futura at 141lt became 3cm narrower than last year's model, so it is now only 1cm wider than the 131 lt version, both with equal length at 246cm. My question is, for a 75 kg rider with a 8.2 sail, would there be any significant benefit in early planing on the 141? And if yes, what would the trade-off be? (e.g. getting sooner overpowered in highwind? / board feeling heavier?)

Thanks to see this mistake on the web, the width is 80.5 for the Futura 141.

At 75 kgs, I recommend you the 131 with this sail.
