2013 Carve 131

Hi All,

I'm considering a new Carve131 in wood for my light wind (13-18 knot) sailing. I'll mostly be using a 7.5 Ezzy Lion twin cam on this board. What I am curious about is, how would this board compare to the new Futura 131? I have heard a few people suggest the performance is very close between the new Carve and Futura but would be keen to hear any advice from those who may know. The water state I normally sail in can get quite rough quickly, even in the lighter winds, and am wondering which board would feel "too big" first in rougher conditions. Would there be much of a difference with regards to racing and upwind performance as I occasionally enjoy the less serious racing events.
