How are average joes supposed to afford these boards?

hello:

in my current windsurf quiver i have two(2) boards that i would replace with SB products
i have a Fanatic Ultra CAT longboard of 210 liters , 374 cm length and 66 cm width
as a heavyweight this is the best longboard i have ridden
the obvious replacement would be a Phantom 377 of 263 liters, 377 cm length and 67 cm width
this board new would cost me $3500 taxes in {reduced price on 2012 version}
how is an average joe like me supposed to afford this ??
even half price used = forget about it
{not so sure about those flimsy looking batwings - prefer the 295 look}

my other favourite board is a BIC Techno Formula of 170 liters, 267 cm length and 94 cm width
as a heavyweight this is the best light wind early planer i have ridden
the obvious replacement would be a SB US of 147 liters, 240 cm length and 93 cm width
this board new would cost me $2500 taxes in {reduced price on 2012 version}
once again - how is an average joe like me supposed to afford this ??
half price is affordable, butt where is one to find such a deal ??

fortunately these boards DO come with fins - otherwise it is another $200 + for specialized fins

first the sport of windsurfing went out of the average joe's reach with the racy short boards
now it feels like it is going to go out of reach merely by inflated cost

there is one SB US in my city and NO SB Phantoms {then again i seem to be the only longboarder - besides the KONA}

in my life i managed to purchase one board new and one sail new
now this is all beyond my means
hope i can keep finding good used stuff to keep my quiver going
