Futura 93? 101? or 111?

Hi All,
Im about to buy a Futura board - but not sure about the size that suits me....
Weight 60Kg, Height 1.73, Intermediate skills.
Sails - 5,6,6.7
Looking for a board mainly for flat days and medium wind (~15 Kt) but versatile enough to be able to deal with stronger winds and choppy conditions.
Obviously - if this is too much for one board....so will have to compromise....

Well at your weight I would expect you to be up and planing in about 12/13 knots with a 6.7/F93.

Do you have a smaller sail? At your weight and current ability I see a 5.6 being a handful in stronger winds.

As you say, comprimise. You have to decide if you want to comprimise at high wind or light wind.

Defienlty will buy a smaller sail (probably 4.2--4.5)- just trying to find a board suitabel for both ends.
At this stage inclined for the 93

At 60kg I think the Fu93 should be perfect, I plane in 15 with a 7 on it and im 85kg.

A smaller sail will definitely help at your weight in the stronger winds no matter which board size you choose. I’m not saying don’t get the 93, just be honest with the wind you will be sailing in. Let’s say you don’t’ sail very often, maybe 50 times a year. If 45 of those days are in wind under 15kts & only five are over 15kts than I think you are going to want a bigger board than the 93.
