Hi Remi
I am 47, 87kg and winsurfing for over 34 years. I currently sail mostly inland lakes. I had a Formula a couple of years ago that I enjoyed but did not use much (may be 20% of time). What I currently enjoy most is an old GO 165 with big fin and big sail. It plans early, it is VERY easy, I can put a big sail to plan early (with big fin along) and it is INDESTRUCTIBLE. My sail quiver is 7, 8.5, 9.5 and 11, the two largest ones being racing sails. I would like to "upgrade": going faster and planning even earlier. Ultrasonic 147 sounds great but two questions: 1) Will it take me long to get comfortable (as an advanced intermediate used to BIG boards)? 2) Is the board fragile? (I found the formula wood could take some beating but it neededncare) Thanks Alfredo |

Hi Alfredo,
If you are fine with your GO 165 even with 11.0, you will have no problems at all with the UltraSonic, you will plane earlier and go faster. We have 2 models, one i Carbon and one in Wood, for durability and impact the wood one will be the better choice. Hope this help All the best
