THE LEGACY: The infamous ACE race board from Starboard was an industry-first design that reimagined the downwind raceboard design. First produced as a 12’6” SUP Race board and debuting at the Battle of the Paddle in 2009, the ACE (originally named “The NEW”) was available in many iterations and sizes from 12’6” – 14’0” models between 2009 – 2021. In 2025 the ACE was reborn in a brand new size range, for the latest downwind innovation: Downwind SUP Foiling.

CARBON D2 NEW

ULTRA-LIGHTWEIGHT PERFORMANCE

Carbon D2 is the lightest performance construction in the range, designed to maximize responsiveness while minimizing weight. The reduced weight helps riders accelerate quickly, lift onto foil earlier and maintain efficient flight.

A custom process using traditional epoxy lamination instead of expanding epoxy resin, reducing weight while maintaining structural strength. Additional Carbon reinforcements increase stiffness in key load areas while keeping the board light and responsive.
