The Starboard PRO is our highest-performance wave SUP, built for progressive SUP surfing at the top level. This world-championship-winning paddleboard was shaped alongside the athletes who ride it, from intermediate surfers looking to advance their skills to world champions like Benoit Carpentier and Zane Schweitzer. If you surf, think of the PRO as your progressive shortboard for SUP. The new PRO gets a focused tail refinement. A narrower, round pin tail replaces the previous squash tail, adding drive and hold in bigger waves and helping you set up for powerful top turns and steep drops. The performance rails thin out more towards the tail, so it takes less foot pressure to lock in a rail turn and the board feels more responsive underfoot. A longer, narrower outline generates speed, holds a cleaner rail line on steep drops, and makes rail-to-rail transitions easier.
