How to Set Up a Foil on Starboard Inflatable Foilboard

Learn how to install a foil on your Starboard inflatable foilboard with Carbon plate in this step-by-step guide.

Installing your foil correctly is essential for performance, safety, and maximizing your time on the water. Starboard’s inflatable foilboards feature patented top plate technology that places the foil just 1.5 cm between your feet and the foil, providing direct foil response for improved feedback and control. Combined with a solid carbon standing plate, this system eliminates any wobbly sensations, giving you a smooth and confident flight experience.

Step 1	Add washers to your screws
Step 2	Install the screws with the bolt from the bottom, attaching to the nut on your AirFoil Carbon Plate Deck. The nuts will fit inside the gap of the AirFoil Carbon Plate Track.
Step 3	Insert your foil and tighten from underneath the board.
Step 4	Install the EVA plug.
