Setting Up Your Starboard Airline iSUP with the Quick Tension System

Red and blue Starboard inflatable paddleboard with Airline iSUP branding

The Starboard Airline Technology revolutionized inflatable race boards, delivering a stiffness previously unheard of in the industry.

Now, with the Quick Tension System (QTS), we’ve made that stiffness adjustable, immediate, and effortless. Whether you're on the new Sprint or All Star Airline, the QTS is your key to fine-tuning your board for maximum glide and a true hardboard feel.

STEP-BY-STEP: HOW TO DO IT RIGHT

1. FULLY INFLATE THE BOARD

Inflate the board to the recommended pressure of 15-18 PSI.

2. SET THE NOSE CONE

Securely set the nose cone over the nose of the board, ensuring the Tiki logo is facing up.

3. SET THE ARAMID CORD

Pass the aramid cord along the grooved line of the nose cone.

4. CONNECT TO THE QUICK TENSION SYSTEM

Place the loop of the aramid cord onto a hook of the Quick Tension System.

5. LOCK THE SYSTEM

Press the Quick Tension System down with the attached aramid cord to lock it in place.

6. CHECK CORD TENSION

7. SECURE SAFETY STRAP

Attach the safety strap on the Quick Tension System to the connector on the board to prevent accidental release while paddling.
