The 2026 Freestyle Pro Tour season came to an exciting conclusion at Brouwersdam, Netherlands, with Team Starboard celebrating a double European Championship victory! Lennart Neubauer secured his third consecutive FPT European title, while Lisa Kloster claimed her first-ever European Championship crown. An incredible finish to the season for both riders!
Held as part of the DAM-X Festival from October 7–11, the final stop of the tour delivered powerful winds, spectacular freestyle action and some unforgettable battles on the water.
Lennart Neubauer – An Incredible Comeback and Third Consecutive Title!
Fresh off his 2026 PWA Freestyle World Championship victory in Sylt, Lennart Neubauer arrived in Brouwersdam ready to finish his season on another high.
However, the road to victory was anything but straightforward. After an unexpected early elimination against Youp Schmit in the Single Elimination, Lennart faced the challenging task of fighting his way back through the Double Elimination.
Lennart delivered an extraordinary run of nine consecutive heats, throwing down massive double power moves and consistently scoring above 40 points as he worked his way back to the top.
His impressive performance eventually brought him face-to-face with Yentel Caers in a spectacular Super Final. Both riders pushed the limits of freestyle windsurfing, landing technical combinations and some of the highest-scoring moves of the competition. Lennart ultimately came out on top with an incredible 46.67-point heat, securing the Brouwersdam event victory.

The result also confirmed his third consecutive FPT European Championship title, extending his winning streak that began in 2024. With both the PWA Freestyle World Title and the FPT European Championship secured in 2026, Lennart closes another outstanding season at the very top of the sport.
Lisa Kloster – First European Championship Title!
It was also a milestone event for Lisa Kloster, who celebrated the biggest achievement of her FPT career by claiming her first European Championship title!
Lisa arrived in Brouwersdam following a strong season, having already taken victory at the FPT stop in Podersdorf earlier in the year. The women's competition in Brouwersdam delivered challenging conditions and intense battles, with Lisa once again going head-to-head with Maaike Huvermann.

After advancing to the final of the Single Elimination, Lisa continued to demonstrate her consistency and determination throughout the Double Elimination. In the extreme conditions, she delivered a strong performance, including an impressive last-second Skopu that helped secure her place in the final against Maaike. Despite putting together another solid heat, Lisa eventually finished second behind Huvermann in the Brouwersdam event.
However, combining her victory in Podersdorf with her runner-up finish in Brouwersdam was enough to secure the overall 2026 FPT European Championship title! A huge milestone for Lisa, whose dedication, progression and consistent performances throughout the season have paid off in the best possible way.
“I’m super stoked to have won my first-ever European Championship title after getting enough points with my 2nd place here at Brouwersdam! The wind strength was shifting a lot, making sail size selection very tricky and important at the same time. The only constant: I sailed my Starboard Ignite 87L with a 19cm fin, which was the perfect setup for me, working in all types of conditions. Despite competing with a tendon injury and not being able to perform at my best in every heat, I’m really happy with my consistency and the way I filled my scoresheet.”
After also finishing third in the 2026 PWA Freestyle World Championship, Lisa ends the season with another major achievement to her name.
Her first European title is well deserved, and we can't wait to see what comes next!
A Perfect Finish to the European Freestyle Season
With Lennart Neubauer taking the men's event victory and his third consecutive European Championship title, and Lisa Kloster securing her first European crown, the 2026 FPT season couldn't have ended much better for Team Starboard.
Both riders have demonstrated exceptional determination, consistency and progression throughout the year, proving once again what it takes to compete at the highest level of freestyle windsurfing.
Congratulations to Lennart and Lisa on an incredible season and two well-deserved European Championship titles!
