Our Starboard riders dominated at the Bonaire PWA Youth Slalom World Cup

At first, the forecast for the 2024 Bonaire Youth Slalom PWA World Cup didn’t look too promising. However, despite the forecast, the wind arrived and 15 eliminations were completed. The young competitors seized the opportunity, showcasing their skills and turning the event into a spectacular and action-packed 3 days. The Girls Fleet

After winning the opening event in Aruba, Bobbi-Lynn de Jong continues her winning spree in Bonaire. She won 14 out of 15 eliminations in her home spot and secured her first place overall and in the U17 category. Her sisters Kit and Lone de Jong finished first and second in the U15 category showing another amazing performance. Our newest member of the Starboard Junior Dream Team, Louise van der Meulen finished first in the U21 category.

The Boys Fleet

 

Another new member of the Starboard Junior Dream Team, Storm Nicolai showed great skills and finished second in the U17 category. The youngest Starboard rider Joey Ross was absolutely stoked to win the U13 category. We are super excited to see such young riders having so much fun competing. The future of Slalom windsurfing is bright.
