The 2025 Aloha Classic at Ho‘okipa, Maui, delivered more than just spectacular surf — it crowned legends. Under perfect trade-wind and swell conditions, the world’s top wave riders converged for the season finale, and the results rewrote the record books.
Sarah-Quita Offringa: A Triple Crown Year & Her 28th Title
This year, Sarah-Quita Offringa didn’t just win the Aloha Classic, she sealed her dominance across Wave, Freestyle, and Slalom X for 2025, making her the 2025 Wave, Freestyle and Slalom X world champion and pushing her career world title count to 28.
In the women’s final at Maui, Sarah-Quita claimed her fourth Aloha Classic win with a score of 11.50 points. This victory also secured her fifth consecutive World Wave title, reinforcing that she truly remains the most complete and formidable female windsurfer of the modern era.
To pull off world titles in three very different disciplines in a single year back-to-back is extraordinary and it underscores not just her versatility, but her consistency and peak performance.

Ryu Noguchi: Rising Star in the Pro Junior Division
The youth division also delivered drama and breakthrough performance. In the Pro Junior final, our Starboard rider Ryu Noguchi clinched victory with a precise, confident heat totaling 8.27 points.
Ryu’s win in what is now one of the most internationally diverse junior heats seen at Ho‘okipa highlights the depth of upcoming talent. His clean vertical turns and composed rail work in a tight final showed he’s more than just a hopeful — he’s someone to watch on the pro tour. After one year at Starboard Dream Team this is a great achievement and we are excited for what comes.
